L’Epson WorkForce WF-7835DTWF est une imprimante jet d’encre multifonction A3 qui imprime, numérise, copie et télécopie. L’impression est assurée par une tête PrecisionCore dotée de 800 buses noires et de 256 buses pour chaque couleur. Les cartouches noire, cyan, jaune et magenta contiennent de l’encre pigmentaire DURABrite Ultra. Le panneau avant comporte un écran tactile couleur de 6.9 cm. Pour les originaux, la partie scanner comprend un scanner à plat CIS et un chargeur automatique de documents de 50 pages.
La résolution d’impression maximale atteint 4,800 x 2,400 dpi. La technologie à taille de goutte variable permet d’obtenir des gouttelettes d’une taille minimale de 3.8 pl. La vitesse d’impression selon la norme ISO est de 25 ppm en monochrome et de 12 ppm en couleur. L’impression recto verso automatique est possible sur du papier ordinaire A4 et A3. Sur des feuilles A4, la vitesse d’impression recto verso est de 16 ppm en noir et de 9 ppm en couleur. La résolution optique de numérisation est de 1,200 x 2,400 dpi.
L’alimentation papier est répartie entre deux bacs, pour une capacité maximale totale de 500 feuilles. Les pages imprimées sont recueillies dans un bac de sortie de 125 feuilles. Les formats papier standard comprennent A3, A4, A5, A6, B4, B5, Letter, Legal et le format large 16:9. Les formats personnalisés et les formats photo sont répertoriés séparément. Les enveloppes peuvent être au format C4, C6, DL ou n° 10. Pour les originaux, le chargeur automatique de documents de 50 pages prend également en charge la numérisation recto verso.
La connexion directe à un ordinateur s’effectue via Hi-Speed USB, et la connexion réseau filaire via Ethernet 10/100. La connexion sans fil utilise IEEE 802.11b/g/n ou Wi-Fi Direct. L’impression mobile et dans le cloud est proposée via Epson iPrint, Epson Email Print, Remote Print Driver, Scan-to-Cloud, Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service et Mopria Scan. Le boîtier mesure 515 x 400 x 350 mm et pèse 18.2 kg. La copie autonome consomme environ 20 W. Le volume d’impression mensuel indiqué est de 50,000 pages.
